SONDER

SCROLL DOWN

SONDER

Sonder is a series of online films aimed at capturing a snap shot of the European Union, country by country, person to person, through the eyes of a traveler by the voices of the citizens.  The project will take over 12 months on the road visiting all 28 countries of the EU and portraying the culture, history and landscape in a series of cinematic short films with the voices of the people of the EU telling their stories, giving their tales and revealing the character of their countries.

Sarah and Theo are spending slightly longer than the next year on the road traveling through and around the member countries of the EU.  Follow the story here and keep up to date with the adventure.

Sarah

My name is Sarah Fitzgerald, I live in county Wicklow in Ireland. I graduated in November 2015 with an honours degree in Psychology. I chose to study Psychology as I am fascinated by people, I love hearing what is unique to each person as they tell their story, hopefully this translates through to the conversations we have and record throughout Europe. Until now, I have worked in numerous part time jobs throughout University and school. I worked so that I could travel whenever possible. Since last January I decided to turn what I love into my job by becoming part of 'Sonder'.

I am the co-founder of 'Sonder Visuals' production company. I am the producer, interviewer and marketing manager of our very first visual project 'Sonder'. United, myself and Theo make a great team. We love what we do and we hope you feel the same way as you follow us on this journey through the EU!

Theo

Theo

My name is Theo Jebb, I have been filming wildlife since I was 11 years old.  I have been fortunate enough to have worked in the industry since 2010, my main focus being camerawork on full time wildlife productions and slowmotion operation. I have had the privilege to work on a vast array of equipment from 16 millimeter celluloid film to digital 6k, with time-lapse and super slow-motion to drones and gyro stabilized hand-held rigs with hollywood actors and dangerous wild animals.

I most recently worked on Brain farm cinema’s first wildlife series, which will air at the end of this year on National Geographic.
The first series I worked on, on a river in Ireland with crossing the line films has won three major wildlife film festivals over-all 'film of festival awards' and been awarded awards for cinematography and three emmy nominations.

This is a behind the scenes of Theos most recent wildlife camera work on Brainfarm cinemas Wild Yellowstone for National Geographic wild.
